Auckland Grammar School, founded in 1869, is a top-tier boys' secondary school dedicated to developing students' academic, athletic, and artistic potential. Location: Epsom, a prestigious residential area in the heart of Auckland. The campus covers 16 hectares. Facilities include an auditorium, an artificial turf hockey field, tennis courts, a heated swimming pool, two indoor gymnasiums, a concert hall, a library, and a newly built information building. The entire campus is covered by wireless internet.

Outstanding teaching performance

Auckland Grammar School has produced a large number of social elites, with alumni now found throughout New Zealand and Australia in politics and business. To date, Auckland Grammar School has produced more than 47 retired and current All Black rugby players, the most of any school in New Zealand.

Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is divided into three levels: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Students typically register for the Bronze level in Year 4 (applicants must be at least 14 years old), move up to the Silver level in Year 5 (Year 11), and complete the Gold level in their final year, Year 7 (Year 13). Schools usually open applications for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award to new students at the end of the fourth term or at the beginning of the first term.

Leadership Training Enhancement Program

Experience Indian is a systematic, immersive training program. It provides students with the opportunity to develop personal leadership skills within a foreign culture through interaction with marginalized individuals.

International Student Services

Although international students comprise only 5% of the total student body at Auckland Grammar School, they are a vital part of our school's cultural diversity. The international student department provides guidance through student records management and ongoing feedback to parents. International student welfare and care are considered extremely important by the school. We ensure that all our activities and arrangements meet or exceed international standards. The school arranges homestays for students and can recommend responsible guardians.
